Family

Family-level outdoor adventures in Italy are suitable for active families with children of all ages. Accommodations are usually child-friendly huts, and distances, terrain and physicality requirements are relatively mild. For an enjoyable and relaxing family adventure in Italy, this is a great option.

Easy

Our Easy hiking trails and outdoor adventures in Italy are suitable for people with little or no mountaineering experience. Featuring predominantly easier, shorter trails, they’re relatively easy to complete for people of all abilities and fitness levels. To get the most out of this type of outdoor adventure, you should be able to hike between 10 and 15 km on flat terrain with ease.

Our Beginner hiking trails in Italy are up to 15 km long and feature up to 600 meters of vertical gain or loss each day.

Moderate

Featuring mainly well-maintained and reasonably wide trails, our Moderate walking holidays in Italy can include some challenging segments. You can expect a few steep drops and some technical sections that cover rocky terrain. You’ll need a good fitness level and physical capability in order to complete Moderate hikes in the Alps comfortably. Participants should be able to hike between 15 and 20 km on a flat road with little difficulty. These outdoor adventures are suitable for children from 12 years of age with some hiking experience.

Our Moderate hiking trails in Italy are up to 20 km and feature up to 1300 meters of vertical gain or loss per day.

Experienced

Our Experienced hiking trails in the Italian Alps are for people with excellent technical skills and high fitness levels. To complete this level of outdoor adventure comfortably, you’ll need to have a lot of hiking experience in environments similar to those found in the Alps. You should also be familiar with map reading, GPS use, and hiking in challenging weather conditions. The complex nature of these outdoor adventures makes them unsuitable for children.

Our Experienced hiking adventures in the Italian Alps are up to 25 km long and feature up to 2000 meters of vertical gain or loss per day.

Advanced

Our Advanced Alpine adventure vacations are only for experienced athletes who are proficient in mountaineering and exceptionally fit. You should have significant experience in your chosen Alpine activity, whether that’s climbing, skiing, or running. As a simple rule of thumb, Advanced participants should be able to complete a half-marathon with relative ease.
